DARTS is required to follow safety regulations.

It is required that:

• All wheelchairs and scooters must have working seatbelts and foot rests
• Each passenger is permitted to carry a maximum of 4 bags
• Each bag is required to be secured so that they are not a danger
• DARTS has a responsibility to refuse to carry items that are not secured and pose a safety hazard

Do Not Leave Unattended

A DARTS passenger identified as requiring a caregiver at their destination will not be dropped-off if the caregiver is not present to receive them. The unattended passenger will be driven back to the pick-up point by DARTS.
